MaryJane Broussard
Lead Teacher

MaryJane Broussard brings creativity, energy, and a deep love for teaching to her role as Lead Pre-K Teacher. With 10 years of experience in early childhood education, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education and a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. MaryJane is passionate about making each child’s first school experience a joyful and meaningful one. She sees Pre-K as the beginning of a child’s educational journey—and considers it a privilege to help shape those early years.

MaryJane is known for her love of hands-on learning, especially through art. The Art Center is her favorite classroom space, where children can express themselves and discover new ways to create. She believes learning should be fun, and she strives to create a classroom where students feel excited to explore, try new things, and build confidence. Her hope is that every child leaves her class remembering that what they say and do matters.

Outside of the classroom, MaryJane leads an active lifestyle filled with adventure. She enjoys playing coed softball, working out, and traveling whenever she can. A 2nd degree black belt in karate during high school, she once even auditioned to be on American Ninja Warrior! Her favorite children’s book is Harry Potter, which reflects her appreciation for imagination, bravery, and the magic of learning.
